After graduating, she was a research assistant in projects involved in conservation and ecology with SMART (Singapore-MIT Alliance for Research and Technology), which led her to pursue her Master’s degree in Biology. She is passionate about environmental protection and believes that educating youth is the key to change for a better world. She is keen to connect with youth from all over ASEAN to exchange opinions and explore new ideas. She is also a core member of BruWILD, an NGO dedicated to educating the public on wildlife conservation.

Her love of the ocean does not stop there, she is also keen to learn more and deliver it by writing stories about the condition of marine environments, sustainable fisheries, and communities in Indonesia.

She believes that small actions by many people are more effective than grand programs by a few. Therefore, she is keen to develop more widespread environmental education programs and empower communities in practicing sustainable lifestyles.

She is the middle child in a household of eight people. Although, she does not have any hobbies, she enjoys trying out new activities. At first glance, she may appear shy but if you get to know her you will realize she is very outgoing and talkative.

Mr. Paul Cornilla is a licensed Agricultural Engineer. He graduated from Xavier University – Ateneo de Cagayan. His involvement in the XU BULLRIDERS organization fueled his passion for agriculture and allowed him to impart his knowledge to local farmers on livestock management and promote the importance of animal restraining, not only as a sport, but as a helpful skill in handling livestock. He is passionate in the mechanization, modernization, and promotion of agricultural practices that would improve the agricultural sector in his community. He aims to gain more experience and knowledge to take part in the mitigation of environmental problems and help address the Philippines’ problem of food security.

She also served as the Co-Chair of the APEC Voices of the Future leadership program which focused on developing resilient communities. With her work in disaster preparedness and sustainable development, she aspires to be an innovator for environmental change by building a disaster resilient Philippines.

With his background in engineering, he plans to help communities in Thailand achieve sustainable development through the implementation of innovative policies.

He hopes to encourage the Vietnamese people to actively find solutions for climate change instead of waiting.
